Yes, it went down.
Yes, it took me a while.
No, I’m not pretending that’s surprising.
Well… We’re Back
So yeah. We disappeared for a bit.
Short version: a spectacularly awful web host pulled the plug without warning, the site went down hard, and then I did what I do best when something breaks — stared at it, sighed, procrastinated, rebuilt it from scratch, and took way longer than I planned. But hey… look at us now.
Some of the old blog posts didn’t survive the great hosting disaster of whatever year this is. That’s annoying, sure, but honestly kind of on brand. This whole thing has never been about living in the past anyway. We’re moving forward. If you’re feeling nostalgic, the gallery still has some familiar reminders scattered around like emotional landmines. Enjoy responsibly.
As for what’s new — life is life. Same chaos, different day.
The site itself has a lot more under the hood now. We added Nudist AI, which is our own personal AI experiment and, somehow, one of the most “us” things I’ve ever built. There’s also a new streaming portal that works more like a group hangout or a Google Meet situation than a traditional stream. No pressure, no weird vibes — just a place to exist together when the interest is there. When people want to do something, we’ll set something up.
I’ll be reopening access to features and tools as people find their way back. If I miss you, it’s not personal — shoot me a message and I’ll fix it. I promise I’m not gatekeeping, just occasionally scatterbrained.
You’ll also notice an etc section. That’s where all the miscellaneous stuff lives: new apps, experiments, side projects. Some of it is very on-brand, some of it absolutely isn’t, but it all came from the same place. There’s a lot more coming, so patience is appreciated while I keep bolting pieces onto this thing mid-flight.
Mostly, I’m just genuinely stoked to have this space back online. It matters to me more than I probably admit out loud.
If you need me, want access, have questions, or just want to say hey:
Thanks for sticking around. Or coming back. Or accidentally finding this again.
Either way — welcome back to Jake’s Awkward Days.
